(Officially the night before camp): it’s around 9pm and as usual I haven’t
packed yet. I am a procrastinator, what can I say bad habits die hard.
On the plus side, I am feeling pretty excited about the trip
now, my mind and body feel like a little tranquillity i.e. peaceful nature is
in order. Apparently, being out in
the ‘wilderness’ is better than or almost as good as a massage. Well, we will
see about that!
Plus, it will, well and truly, be a bonding experience shared
by friends who have come a long way in the last ten years. We are lucky to have
remained so tight for so long, so this camp is like a venture into new
territories of our relationships with each other. Should be interesting!
V seems to be breathing again, and we all seem to be pumping
each other’s spirits for the trip. I have already been informed that I better
be up by 7am. That’s pretty damn early for a Saturday morning… sigh!
Interestingly enough my parents gave me a safety talk and
told me to be vigilant and careful at all times. It is always great to know how
much your parents care about you even though. technically, you are an adult. Love you mum and dad. And mind you, I am keeping your words in mind, first things first
where is my rosary I may need it tomorrow!
